The next issue of Colloquia journal (December 2019, No. 43) will be dedicated to Alfonsas Nyka-Niliūnas. We invite contributors to discuss Nyka-Niliūnas’s works, the cohesion between existential choices and creative pursuits, poet’s aesthetic points of reference, his emigration experience, and so on. We also invite to look into the field of cultural similarities and differences of various generations of immigrants, and problems of handing over, dissemination, and accessibility of diaspora archives.

We invite you to discuss a wide range of Tumas-Vaižgantas’s creative heritage, the nature of his professional and civic choices, writer’s contribution to Lithuanian culture and literature, and so on. We also encourage considering the issue of cultural and literary modernization, the formation of literary canon, the questions of bibliography, its compilation and functioning in culture.
