Works at the ILLF since 2017.

In 2016 defended her PhD thesis “Reflections of the Local World of Trakai in Folk Narratives”.

Since 2012 organizes international conferences of the young folklorists (YoFo) in Vilnius Since 2017 is head of the trade union of the ILLF

Since 2020 works a full time postdoc researcher Dr. Lina Leparskienė in the international project supported by the Baltic Research Programme: “Re-storied Sites and Routes as Inclusive Spaces and Places: Shared Imaginations and Multi-layered Heritage”, EMP 340 (2020–2023).

External Academic Responsibilities: Since 2016 Editorial Board: Lithuanian journal “Būdas“ (en. “Habitus”) 

Main research interests: research of folk narratives (folk belief legends, place legends, folk stories); life stories; narrative analysis of folklore; local identities; lieux de mémoire , vernacular religiosity, culture of Lithuanian national minorities.

Current researches: Devotion to the picture of Our lady of Trakai in XXI century. Research of pilgrimage, revitalization of the cult, vernacular religion, academic and Church narrative about the cult, personal experiences. Local identity of the inhabitants of Grigiškės – town of the postwar work imigrants.
