YOU ARE INVITED TO TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION COMPETITION FOR THE POST OF DIRECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE OF LITHUANIAN LITERATURE AND FOLKLORE

We are looking for a strong and vibrant personality who will be able to inspire and motivate the academic community of the Institute in order to strengthen and activate the Institute's work in the development of Lithuanian culture, education and national identity.
 
DIRECTOR'S SALARY
 
until August 31, 2025 is EUR 4,427, from September 1, 2025 – EUR 4,677 before tax, with a performance bonus of 12% of the salary (until 31 January 2026). Financial incentives are available depending on performance.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE INSTITUTION 
 
  • Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore. Registered seat: Antakalnio g. 6, Vilnius.
  • The mission is to implement the state priority for Lithuanian studies by conducting long-term research on Lithuanian literature and ethnic culture, which is important for the continuity and development of the country's culture and society, by collecting and preserving Lithuanian heritage, by ensuring the dissemination of Lithuanian studies on the Lithuania and world scientific scene, and by using the results of research to strengthen the cultural identity of the Lithuanian society and state.
